[S22] Farumashia talks about the future of pharmaceutical sciences

Farumashia, the organ of the Pharmaceutical Society of Japan, was first published in 1965 and has covered awewide range of up-to-date information on pharmaceutical research, pharmacy practice, and pharmaceutical education. The editorial board of Farumashia strives to provide the members of the Pharmaceutical Society of Japan with trends to enable them to think deeply about the future of pharmaceutical environments in Japan. In order to activate the Pharmaceutical Society of Japan, it is important for the members to continue their education and to connect with each other, and we believe that Farumashia must fully support them. Therefore, we would like to organize this symposium so that the members can understand more deeply the contents of Farumashia and build a flexible and powerful connection between members.
This symposium will include a look behind-the-scenes of the production of Farumashia as well as explanations of each column. In addition, there will be an incentive speech by a past committee member, Prof. Shuntaro Hara, and valuable advices from the members. We hope that Farumashia will contribute to the active communications among students, junior, mid-career, and senior members.
Finally, we sincerely hopes that this symposium will encourage as many members as possible to read Farumashia and serve as a catalyst for further success of the Pharmaceutical Society of Japan in the future.
