[GM-05] Simple Graphical User Interface (GUI) Application Using Matlab Programming Language for Map Processing on Magnetic Methods and Gravity Methods

ABSTRACT - Geophysics Exploration's activities in the implementation are carried out in sequence and planned. Generally begins with the acquisition process, processing data until get the result in the form of map's interpretation. From group of data that describing the areas of research need to be carried out further treatment by filters to get certain parameters that can be used to see the targets that needed in a interpretation stage. however, there are some problems in the implementation of geophysics processing which one is still limited and licensed geophysical processing software or not open source so that requires money to obtain the software license. Therefore, it takes geophysical map processing software that are open sourced so we as a student can be easily do the map processing. This software purpose is used to be a development in the field of geophysics map processing applications so that students can get a facilitate to perform they geophysics map processing. This study is build in the form of development by the descriptive method which research development will help easier for students to do a geophysics map processing, then also get studies on the basic process of processing in geomagnetic methods and gravity methods, then the work system are going on the map processing step and implemented with a simple application in the form of Graphical User Interface. the conclusions that obtained are this simple application has finished and can be used for the geophysics processing data.
