The electrokinetic method is one of the new ground improvement techniques for the soft ground. In this study, a number of electroosmotic tests were conducted in the geotechnical laboratory of Asian Institute of Technology to determine the electroosmotic conductivity of Bangkok soft clay for the first time. The results of the experiments showed that reduction of water content, shear strength and electrical resistivity increased with injection time and the voltage gradient. During a test it was observed that the current intensity decreased with time, and it rapidly dropped for the first 20 mins and closed to zero after 250 mins. The reduction of water content was maximum at the vicinity of the anode and minimum at the vicinity of the cathode. It was found that the electroosmotic conductivity of Bangkok soft clay converges at about 3.49 ´ 10-9 m2/(s.V).
