[Tu.2.B] Practical Technology for Generation of In-Cabinet Response Spectrum
Tue. Mar 5, 2024 10:55 AM - 12:35 PM
311/312 (Conference Center 3F)
Chair:BuSeog Ju(Kyung Hee University)
Co-Chair:Sunggook Cho(Innose Tech Company)
Organizer: SungGook Cho (Innose Tech Company)
Co-organizer: Hong-Pyo Lee (Korea Hydro & Nuclear Power)
Aim and Scope for Special Session:
Electrical cabinets and control panels are critical safety related equipment that contains important instrument, and they must be seismically qualified before installation using the motions compatible to the in-cabinet response spectra. It should also be qualified for vibrations caused by severe shocks from external missiles. Furthermore, the operation environment could be changed from original installation when the internal instrument and devices are replaced. This session discusses the practical issues related to generation of In-cabinet response spectra and the state-of-the-art for ICRS. It is also discussed about the impact of degradations of cabinet structures and their supports on ICRS.
In this session, 5 experts from Europe, United States, and Asia will present and discuss their experiences and knowledges related to an approach to generate the high frequency vibration motion due to the external impact, experimental study on vibration caused by airplane crash, practical approach to generate ICRS, and effects on the ICRS due to degradation and ageing of electrical equipment.
