[B-9-7] A Study of Boost Converter Using Pulse Density Modulation with Dynamic Quantizer

This research aims to investigate the application of Pulse Density Modulation (PDM) scheme for the boost converter. PDM scheme is expected to improve the performance in transient state and reduce the size of the passive component. These points are compared with the conventional Pulse Width Modulation scheme by numerical simulation. In this study, the Optimal Dynamic Quantizer is used as a PDM modulator. According to simulation results, we expect to improve the transient state and to reduce the size of the passive components.
