特別セッション 4 考古学・文化財・人類学への展開
Sat. Sep 17, 2022 9:40 AM - 10:45 AM C会場 (207室)
Chair:Yoshitaka Minai(Musashi University)
Interdisciplinary fields between cultural studies and natural sciences are regarded as a fascinating frontier in the academia. In particular are the sophisticated analytical techniques developed in nuclear chemistry and radiochemistry: development of radiodating methods like radiocarbon dating and thermoluminescence dosimetry, provenance analysis by isochlone curves for lead isotope, application of trace element analysis like activation analysis and PIXE, Moessbauer application for estimating production techniques of fine arts, etc. Furthermore, new techniques using secondary photons and particles, like SOR photon and mesons, develop sophisticated research programs for cultural studies. This session would be an academic forum to present the most sophisticated studies on fine arts based on nuclear techniques.
