Cu2ZnSnS4 (CZTS), a quaternary material with a kesterite structure, is one of the thermoelectric materials with high performance. In this study, we investigated the crystal growth, thermoelectric properties and electrical properties of n-type (Cu1-xAgx)2ZnSnS4 (CAZTS) by substituting Ag for CZTS. The Seebeck coefficient of CAZTS (x = 0.1-0.5) at 373-723 K was a negative value of ~100 μV/K at x = 0.4, confirming a conduction type. Similarly, the Hall coefficient was negative value with the carrier concentration of 10^16 /cm^3.
