We investigate the spin transfer torque oscillation (STO) in a magnetic orthogonal configuration with a strong biquadratic magnetic coupling to obtain a high and stable STO in both of simulations and experiments. The sample structure consists of a bottom layer with perpendicular magnetic anisotropy (PMA), a spacer providing a biquadratic magnetic coupling, and a top layer with in-plane magnetic anisotropy. The bottom PMA layer is the Co/Pt lamination, the spacer is Cr, and the top layer is Co90Fe10. The spacer Cr is expected to have a large biquadratic magnetic coupling coefficient B12 because the B12 of Co90Fe10/Cr/Co90Fe10 was estimated as -0.6 from the magnetization curves.
