[11D-06] 360° frontier: Contents of 360 Degree Panoramic Movies for Regional Activation

A novel and affordable spherical rear projection display system was developed to present whole sky movie images that are taken using a 360-degree panoramic movie camera.As the proposed system was composed entirely of commercially available parts, spherical displays of various sizes with versatility can be developed at a low cost. In addition, the Leap Motion interface was implemented for an interactive manipulation of the whole sky movie image by an audience.We have exhibited the contents "360° frontier" using 360-degree panoramic movie recorded by UAV and have obtained many opinions from guests that showed the effectiveness of the system.
