[1F4-03] Walking Movement Prediction Preceding One Step Using Multi-Layer Perceptron for Real-time Walking Guidance

Latent time of human walking between sudden perceptual stimulation and posture reflex response is known as approximately two steps. Thus real time walking guidance requires us to predict walking movement preceding in two steps. This study reports that a multi-layer perceptron, which has been trained with 5 walking movement patterns including going straight and turning right or left, is able to predict preceding one step walking movement.
