[2D1-04] Multipoint contact force device with pneumatic drive pins
In this research, we developed the device presents haptic sense in a wide range of hand with high density. This device performs a calculation to convert the force between the virtual hand and the virtual object into a voltage, and moves pins in the device by using output of the air pressure by this voltage to present the haptic sense. For each finger, the number of pins is 6 points in the first joint, 4 points in the second joint, 6 points in the third joint, and 74 points in the entire device because thumb have few joint.
