[3A2-04] Elemental investigation on comparison among different sound stimuli in subjective reverberance

Results of a hearing experiment on comparison among different sound stimuli with various reverberations are reported in this article, as an elemental investigation on mixing a sound acquired in a certain environment to the one acquired in another environment. Subjects listened to pairs of stimuli selected out of 18 stimuli made from 3 kinds of sound (voice, musical instrument, noise burst) with 6 kinds of reverberant impulse responses convolved, based on Scheffe's method of paired comparison, and they answered difference in subjective revereberance for each pair. Influence of difference in sound upon subjective reverberance is discussed in this article.
