Christine Arenson, MD is Alumni Professor and Chair, Department of Family & Community Medicine, Sidney Kimmel Medical College at Thomas Jefferson University in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, USA. A practicing primary care physician, she is board certified in family medicine and geriatric medicine. Her career has focused on improving care for underserved older adults and improving education to promote effective interprofessional teamwork. She is a leader in Jefferson Health’s Primary Care Services, and is a member of the boards of the Delaware Valley Accountable Care Organization and JeffCare Alliance Clinically Integrated NetOPrk. She is actively engaged in transformation of Jefferson’s primary care practices to deliver high-value care. She is also the Chair of the American Interprofessional Health Collaborative, an organization dedicated to expanding effective interprofessional education for American health professionals.
