[P1-2] Elderly care at home: a nursing-based project

Ms Elena Abelló-Riley obtained her degree as a State Registered Nurse for England and Wales in 1981 at Bury School of Nursing, England. Her experience as a Staff Nurse started at Bury General Hospital, England (1981), and continued at Red Cross Hospital in Tarragona, Spain (1983-1986) and at Henry Ford Hospital, Michigan, USA (1989-1993).
Since 1994 she has been working as a Primary Care Nurse in Tarragona, Spain, for Institut Català de la Salut (ICS) in different areas. Since 2003, she is a nurse in the Primary Care Centre of El Morell, Tarragona, Spain.
She is also Adjunct Professor since 2010 for the Department of Nursing of Rovira i Virgili University, Tarragona, Spain. She obtained her Master’s Degree in Nursing Sciences in the same University in 2012. She teaches International Nursing to second year student nurses.
