Electrification is accelerating in various industries to aim for a carbon-neutral society.
It is important to improve the performance and efficiency of motors and inverters for electrification, and technological development is accelerating for those key components, including magnetic materials, coils, and power elements. Furthermore, in addition to the improvement of material properties, sustainability of the material is also becoming important such as the reduction of CO2 emissions during the production process and its recyclability after use.
In this presentation, the latest development of a sustainable soft-magnetic composite core and its practical application to high-performance axial flux motors will be reported.
