In this presentation, we reported on the influence of variation in insulation coating thickness of soft magnetic iron powder on core properties. The result from the research, even if several tens of percent of the thin coating particles with low heat resistance was mixed in, core loss did not deteriorate much and the insulation within the core was maintained. Therefore, even if there are large variations in the thickness of the insulation coating of soft magnetic iron powder, it can be said that the core properties are maintained.
