[PHp1-2] Polarized light from in-plane aligned Y2WO6:Gd nanorod films prepared by dip coating method

In-plane aligned Y2WO6:Gd nanorod films were prepared by dip coating method. Weakly polarized emission band around 460 nm was observed from the films. The observed polarization was found to be explained by the theory of emission affected by the light confinement effect in nanorods.
