Wavefront aberrations introduced by DMDs of different pixel structures to the reconstructed images of holograms displayed on the DMDs are investigated with a Shack-Hartmann wavefront sensor. The aberration increases as the pixel size increases, and introduces distortions and blurring to the reconstructed image.
