The implementation of digital health is gathering momentum backed by World Health Assembly resolutions and govern-ments, inter-governmental agencies, and non-governmental organizations coming together to promote speedy adoption of digital health. The COVID 19 pandemic has highlighted the immense value that digital tools offer when health systems capacity is stretched. The accelerated the implementation of digital health tools aid early warning systems, support con-tact tracing and has the potential to augment health systems capacity. This panel is aimed at collating country level expe-riences around implementation of digital health interven-tions during the pandemic and identify best practices that can be scaled across the globe. It will also identify challeng-es that countries faced in scaling up interventions and out-line pathways to address the same while generating evidence to inform policy around digital health for augmenting health systems.
