[3-B-1] 北海道における医療・介護情報共有のシステムの在り方
data health, information sharing system, medical information, nursing care information
Japan has an aging population with a speed unmatched by any other country. Against the backdrop of such an aging society with a declining birthrate, a major issue is how to maintain the livelihood and health of each citizen. One of the requirements to meet this issue is to provide a full range of medical and nursing care services. We, the Hokkaido Bureau of Health and Welfare, conducted a survey and research on the current status of medical and nursing care in Hokkaido, with a focus on medical and nursing care information sharing systems. Through this research, we identified issues related to the medical and nursing care information sharing, as well as the ideal form of the medical and nursing care information sharing system. We were able to identify barriers and challenges in areas where ICT has not yet been introduced, areas where ICT has been introduced but is not being utilized well, and areas where ICT has been successfully introduced and operated. This symposium will report on an overview of the results of the study and present three case studies of initiatives in Hokkaido. At the conclusion of the symposium, we are also planning a panel discussion of our speakers.
