[3-C-3] Dental care in the data-driven era by sharing dental information and integrating different fields
This symposium will consist of two parts and conclude with a general discussion. The first part of the symposium will be dedicated to discussing dental-related information in the two document 6 information shared in the national medical information platform, and will include lectures on dental practice information sharing by both the Japan Dental Association and dental electronic medical record vendors. The second part aims to create a sustainable dental informatics research community. Both the builders and users of medical information systems will share research on the application of the essence of information science and technology to dental care as a common theme, leading to the construction of new dental care and dental research models. The construction of these models requires a variety of validation data, and this creates the need to analyze not only NDB and KDB, but also so-called unstructured data. Therefore, we aim to construct neural dental care models and dental science models using the end-to-end learning method, which is a characteristic of neural networks. Furthermore, we will optimize the models by selecting variables in these models, leading to the construction of standard dental care models and dental science models. The construction of such a standard model requires long-term research and development. Therefore, in order to further expand the base of the existing community and to secure human resources who will be responsible for the future of dental information, we will provide an opportunity to form a sustainable research community by establishing a presentation slot for undergraduate students.
