We evaluated the annealing temperature effects on spin orbit torque in YPtBi/CoPt heterojunction, and compared with that in W/CoPt heterojunction. We found that the spin orbit torque in YPtBi/CoPt is stable up to 300°C of annealing temperature, while that in W/CoPt is stable up to only 200°C. Our results show that YPtBi is superior to W in both spin Hall angle and thermal stability.
