[C-4-03] Improvement of PbS quantum dot superlattice solar cells by using iodide ligands

We confirmed that the performance of solar cells was improved by forming a light-absorbing layer of PbS quantum dot (QD) superlattice substituted with iodide ligands for oleic acid ligands. QD superlattices were formed by the sedimentation method in a solvent with high dispersibility for the iodide-ligand QDs. More efficient QD superlattice solar cells will be realized by developping carrier transport layers to extract carriers directly from higher energy bands in the superlattice.
