We have investigated solution process of high-k polymer dielectric for low voltage operation of organic transistors. We developed drop-cast technique for thin high-k polymer without any vacuum process. Our organic thin-film transistors (TFTs) with the high-k polymer can operate within 5 V. In addition, we improved on/off ratio and on-current of an organic TFT by surface treatment with self-assembled monolayer (SAM). We used triptycene derivative with alkyl-chains as SAM, and on/off ratio was improved by about 104.
