Carbon nanotube (CNT) is one of the most promising candidates of flexible thermoelectric (TE) materials but the use of CNT is limited due to their poor solubility and entanglements. In this work, we have developed a new dispersion method using glycerol. The new method exhibited an ability to decrease the bundle diameter, resulting in better CNT alignment an increase in electrical conductivity. The power factor obtained was 242 μW/mK2, which is 2.5 times larger than the one obtained by the previous dispersion method.
