[K-2-05] Performance comparison of planar and cylindrical ferroelectric tunnel junctions

This work presents a theoretical study of MFIM based ferroelectric tunnel junction (FTJ) using planer (P-FTJ) and cylindrical (C-FTJ) structures. Particularly, two C-FTJ configurations are considered depending on whether FE is close to inner or outer electrode. The differences in polarization and electric field distribution between P-FTJ and C-FTJs are compared, and the resultant TER effects are analyzed as a function of inner radius, FE thickness and DE thickness.
