Dipole layer formation in perovskite epitaxial stacks is determined by the stacking sequence of monatomic layers in polar oxide (LaAlO3 (LAO)), which is affected only by inserting a few monolayers of SrAlOx between LAO and conductive layer of SrRuO3 (SRO). In this study, manipulation of the spatial distribution of locally defined band alignment by controlling the stacking sequence in dipole layer was characterized by the analysis of Fowler-Nordheim tunneling current with conductive-AFM.
