We have been studying magnetic nanowire memories without mechanical moving parts to achieve the large capacity and ultra-high data transfer rates. For this purpose, it is necessary to drive the recorded magnetic domains stably in magnetic nanowires at high speed. We proposed two types of structures with trap sites so that the magnetic domains can be shifted at a constant length and analyzed the behavior of the magnetic domains by simulation. Consequently, we clarified that the magnetic domains were driven at a constant length by providing periodic steps in the magnetic nanowires.
