Symposium

[S42] Frontiers of Physical Pharmaceutical Research by Young Scientists Making Breakthroughs

Mon. Mar 27, 2023 1:50 PM - 3:50 PM [Room D] Institute for the Advancement of Higher Education: S2 (Bldg. S: 2F)

Organizer: Hiroaki Kato, Mikako Ogawa

Physical pharmacy is a basic science that forms the foundation of pharmaceutical research, and at the same time, it is a field that has been developing in new ways in recent years as it has been fused with other fields such as chemistry and clinical pharmacy. The Society of Physical Pharmaceutical Sciences has established the "Society of Physical Pharmaceutical Sciences Encouragement Award" in order to motivate young researchers, and has presented the award at the symposium of the annual meeting of the Pharmaceutical Society of Japan to researchers who have conducted ambitious research in the division and show promise for the future. This symposium aims to contribute to the further development of physical pharmacy through discussions between the two winners of the FY2022 Award for Encouragement of Physical Pharmacy and two young researchers who are conducting cutting-edge research in the field of physical pharmacy and are also developing interdisciplinary research. The purpose of the meeting is to contribute to the further development of physical pharmacy.
