The authors conducted the research on the performance of zeolite on the volatile ruthenium removal in the evaporation to dryness accident. The authors analyzed the composition change of coexisting gas with RuO4 from heating the solution containing ruthenium nitrosyl nitrate in this study. As the result, RuO4, HNO3 and NO2 in the evolved gas by contact with zeolite, and it considered that the removal of HNO3 influence the RuO4 decrease.
