Laser interferometry is a technique for tracking a micrometer-sized probe particle with high spatio-temporal resolution. Laser light that trapped a probe at its focus is collimated by a condenser lens and detected at the back focal plane. In this study, we incorporated the optical leveraging to this technique by using the probe particle itself as a condenser lens. The placement of the laser collimated by the probe particle was amplified while translating through the extended laser path. This technique significantly improved the sensitivity to track probes whose sizes are larger than the laser wavelength.
