Mechanoluminescnence(ML) material is an inorganic material capable of expressing mechanical information by emission. In this study, we analyzed the instantaneous emission phenomenon in microseconds due to impact using a high-speed camera and ML material. In the experiment, a test piece was impacted by a hammer, and a sheet of ML material was adhered to the back surface of the impact surface. At that time, ML phenomenon which exhibited on the back surface was photographed with a high-speed camera, and the strain was evaluated using a triaxial strain gauge. We were able to capture the propagation of impact stress from the image on the back. In addition, we found that ML and strain value of light emission phenomenon are matched as relationship between ML and strain.
