[17a-Z09-4] Multimode oscillation of resonant-tunneling-diode terahertz oscillator

Resonant-tunneling-diode terahertz oscillator is a semiconductor device which can generate a continuous terahertz wave. It is known that its oscillation frequency changes due to an optical feedback. It is also known that a multimode oscillation occurs in a specific condition of the optical feedback. However, the condition and the mechanism for the multimode oscillation has yet been clarified. In this study, we experimentally investigated the condition for the multimode oscillation.
