[17a-Z09-7] Excitation of 0.1-THz Overmoded Spoof Plasmons with Electron Beam

A cylindrical corrugated waveguide, which has a periodic structure on the inner wall, can form overmoded spoof plasmons with orbital angular momenta. The overmoded spoof plasmons are excited to generate intense terahertz-wave radiation by an injected electron beam. Characteristics of generated radiation reflect orbital angular momenta of spoof plasmons. In this study, we examine the characteristic of radiations from the corrugated waveguides with different diameters.
