We report 8-bit and low wavelength dependence operation of an electric-optical digital-to-analog converter which converts “parallel electrical digital signals” to “optical analog signals” seamlessly as one of key components for low latency and low power consumption photo-electric converged accelerators. Our configuration based on circuit topology exploits linear optics for efficient bit weighting, then it becomes only one thing that simultaneously satisfies low latency, low loss, and low noise characteristics. We assume to apply this for data input of the accelerators and communications.
