The characteristics of organic semiconductor devices are closely related to the orientation and crystallinity of organic semiconductor thin films. In this study, we focused on molecular asymmetry and synthesized C8-Cn-4T in which an asymmetric alkyl chain was introduced into the side chain of quarterthiophene (4T). We will report the effect of difference in molecular structure due to the change in alkyl chain length on the crystal growth method, crystal structure, and Device characteristics.
