[18a-Z10-6] Operation of photonic crystal laser in a wide temperature range from -40 to 100°C

For now we have already made many reports about PCSEL operation in a room temperature. In this report we will report the temperature independence of PCSEL. We have designed and fabricated PCSEL to achieve the operation in a wide range temperature. The device has successfully operated from -40 to 100°C. The change in output power is less than 40% which is on the same level with a conventional FP-LD. In addition, the spectrum is stable over the entire temperature range where we don’t observe any mode-hopping.
