[18p-Z07-2] Study on a quantum interface connecting photon and spin using quantum dot

Recent years, the research and development of quantum network has becoming vigorous using various physical platforms. In this talk, we present our recent works on the fundamental technologies for quantum network based on electron spin in gate-defined quantum dots as a promising qubit for quantum computers. We show the achievements of quantum state conversion from single photons to single electron spins, creation of photon-electron pair from entangled photons and enhancing the conversion efficiency and discuss the prospect of a quantum repeater application of our quantum dots including the technological elements of quantum memory and Bell measurement.
