[18p-Z09-10] Comparison of magnetic absorption performance between dielectric metamaterials and ferromagnetic materials in GHz range

・Dielectric metamaterials are examined as candidates for magnetic absorption materials above tens of GHz, as alternatives to conventionally used ferromagnetic materials.
・Numerical calculation indicates that magnetic absorption performance of the dielectric metamaterials will exceed that of the ferromagnetic materials over tens of GHz range.
・Measurement of microwave absorption and permeability about the dielectric metamaterial shows similar trend with the theoretical result.
