Keywords:Non-equilibrium plasma, Nitrogen fixation, Vibrational excitation

Plasma nitrogen fixation is gaining interest worldwide. Reaction via vibrationally excited nitrogen is the key for high efficiency, and it is necessary to understand the nitrogen vibrational excitation and relaxation process. We are aiming to realize efficient vibrational excitation by controlling the applied E/N with Non-self-sustaining DC discharge plasma. In this study, nitrogen vibrational and rotational temperature is estimated by OES and laser Raman spectroscopy. Non-equilibrium plasma which the vibrational temperature is much higher than rotational temperature is realized.
