Non-planar photovoltaic (PV) modules such as curved PVs exhibit different characteristics from conventional flat PV modules. By fitting to a curved surface, it is expected to be used for curved electric vehicle roofs and highly designed buildings. Since the power generation performance is also different from that of the flat PV modules, a new performance evaluation method is required for non-planar PV modules. In this study, a non-planar silicon PV mini-module was manufactured and its performance was evaluated by measuring current-voltage curves using a solar simulator.
