In recent years, aerial images have been attracting attention as the next-generation industry for displays. Last time, we proposed a new aerial image display optical system using a right-angle prism, a polarizing diffraction grating, and a retrospective mirror. In principle, this method can form an aerial image with 100% efficiency. This time, we introduced a new polarized Fresnel lens to magnify the image formed by this method, and investigated the relationship between the image magnification and the viewing angle.
