Currently, we use homemade analog logic circuits and PC to stabilize the frequency of the four external cavity diode lasers for laser cooling of Ca+. However, there are two problems. One is the limitation of the frequency stability because of the response speed of PC. The other is about the inconvenience of operation. To solve these problems, introducing a FPGA (field programmable gate array) device to our system can give a solution. In this research, we introduce a FPGA device to our system and evaluate the frequency stability of our four lasers.
