筆者らは，中深度処分施設における閉鎖後長期の管理に資する人工バリアや周辺岩盤の機能確認方法を確立するために，機能確認の概念の構築，モニタリング技術の整備に向けた調査・検討・試験を進めている．モニタリング技術の一つとして，長期耐久性を有し，分布計測が可能な光ファイバセンサーに着目し，中深度処分施設における機能確認への適用性について検討している．本報告では，埋設段階終了以降のモニタリング計画への適用に向けて，分布型光ファイバセンサーの性能を確認する目的で実施した，敷設方法と圧力計測の検討について報告する．
