[CS6-01] Evaluation of residual load capacity for concrete-filled steel tubu columns after earthquake
Keywords:Concrete-filled steel tubu columns, Finite element analysis, Residual load capacity, Earthquake
Damage states of concrete-filled steel tube columns (CFT columns) include local buckling of steel pipes, damage to filled concrete, and cracks in steel pipes. Estimating the residual load capacity of CFT columns after a large-scale earthquake and judging their soundness is very important from the viewpoint of restarting train operation early. In this paper, we evaluate the residual load-carrying capacity of CFT columns after an earthquake by applying a displacement assumed to be during an earthquake to the analysis model and then performing a pushover analysis.
