[7A-03] A Study of Representation Methods for Non-Contact Displays

The purpose of this study was to examine unique methods of expression that take advantage of the characteristics of contactless displays and to extract requirements.
Based on the requirements extracted through verification using existing non-contact interfaces and prototypes, we further produced several prototypes and conducted impression experiments, and confirmed that an interface that "stretches a flat surface when pushed in to reveal a space that extends outside the screen" is a suitable expression for this study. By applying this to the interface of an online communication tool, we suggested the possibility of a method of expression suitable for non-contact displays.
