[1Ep04] Single-walled carbon nanotube growth by alcohol catalytic CVD with Os catalyst

We succeeded in growth of single-walled carbon nanotubes (SWCNTs) by alcohol catalytic chemical vapor deposition with an Os catalyt. The grown SWCNTs were vertically aligned and they had diameters less than 1.0 nm. We demonstrated that Os acts as a catalyst to grow small-diameter SWCNTs with high-efficiency.
