It is honor and pleasure to invite you to attend the 43rd Annual Meeting of the Japanese Society for Biomaterials and the 8th Asian Biomaterials Congress (43JSB&8ABMC), which will be held in Nagoya, Japan on November 28-30, 2021.
Biomaterials are widely used in functional recovery of living organisms, diagnostic technologies, and reconstruction of biological tissues. With the advent of a super-aged society and the post-coronavirus era, research and development on biomaterials is becoming increasingly important for extending healthy life expectancy. In this conference, we will intensively discuss the latest research status of biomaterials and issues in their clinical use, aiming to give back to patients by improving the functionality of medical materials. The conference also aims to contribute to the development of new disciplines spreading from the science and technology of biomaterials and to the development of young researchers.
With the concept of "Frontiers of Biomaterials: Biomaterials Research for Sustainable Society", we are planning to hold special lectures on the latest topics and many oral and poster presentations. Many people from Japan and abroad, including physicians, dentists, researchers, developers, and graduate students, are expected to attend the conference as an opportunity to share the results of their research and to deepen discussions.
