[3O02] Immobilization of noble metal nanoparticles onto resin surface using radiation

Noble metal nanoparticles were directly immobilized on the resin surface using chemical reactions induced by radiaion. Aqueous solutin of Pd ion including ABS resin plates were irradiated with high energy electron bema or gamma-ray. SEM observation revealed that Pd nanoparticles were immobilized on the ABS resin. Electroless Cu plating were performed using Pd nanoparticles.
