NanoDragon is a nano class satellite that weights 4-6Kg in 3U size. The satellite is expected to be launched at the end of 2021 via the “Innovative satellite technology demonstration program” of JAXA. The first mission of NanoDragon is validating the satellite attitude determination and control system using an optical camera. The next mission is acquiring Automatic Identification System (AIS) signal for vessel tracking and fleet monitoring. The tentative operation orbit is Sun synchronization (SSO) with an altitude around 520 km. After launching, NDG shall work with a ground station located at Vietnam Space Center and several others around the world.
